20K STEP TEST:

A strip of carpet is fastened to the floor and pedestrians walk in 50-minute intervals, vacuuming in between each interval, until 20,000 steps are achieved.

STAIN TEST:

The carpet is stained with duplicate sets of various mediums from the table below and left to set for 24 hours. The stains are then cleaned using a CRI Seal of Approval Program-approved spot and stain remover.
